ABOUT KAYLA

Hi, I’m Kayla Thompson, a portrait photographer based in the DFW area. My journey with photography began in high school, when I started taking sports photos for the yearbook. However, I quickly realized my true passion lies in capturing the essence of people and moments often overlooked. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Photography, where I fine-tuned my skills and developed my unique eye for storytelling.

 

Today, I specialize in portrait photography, but my love for capturing raw, candid moments extends to my personal hobbies, where I enjoy shooting film and architectural scenes. My family and the photos I take of them inspire me a lot; as they remind me of the beauty in the simple, fleeting moments, we often don’t focus on. I believe every moment deserves to be remembered, and I would love to help you capture the ones that matter most to you.
